3 of us are married:
James, Jon Micah, and Dave are all married.....to girls!
2 of us are Dad's:
James, and Jon Micah. We both have boys. My son's name is Jacob, and Jon Micah's son is named Caleb. We are thinking of co-writing a book titled "Kids are Weird".
2 of us are Pastor's kids:
Nick, and Jon Micah
All 5 of us think we can play the drums...only 2 of us really can:
Jeff (obviously, since he's our drummer!!), and Dave. Dave actually started off on drums as his primary instrument, and a bad case of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome forced him to put the sticks down, at which point he began to learn the bass guitar.
4 of us were home-schooled at least a little bit:
Jeff, Jon Micah, Dave and Nick
1 of us was not, and 1 of us was, for all grades:
James was not at all, even though his Mother is a teacher. Nick was for all grades (K-12)
2 of us were born the same year, and both have it tattooed on them:
James and Dave were both born in December of the year 1982. James on the 27th, and Dave 9 days earlier, on the 18th. Dave has the year tattooed on his right fore-arm, and James' is on his chest. They're even the same font and colors!
4 of us have tattoo's, 1 of us does not:
Jon Micah does not have any. All four other guys do.
1 of us has played in all 50 states!
His name is Jeff. While in his first band, Seven Places, Jeff got to play in Vermont....the one state Kutless has never played in. While we were on the Newsboys fall tour, Kutless got to play in state number 49, which was Maine. That completed Jeff's list!
3 of us are from the same home-town:
Although most of us hail from Portland NOW, none of us grew up here. Jeff, Jon Micah, and Dave are from southern Oregon; an area called Medford. Incidentally, they all went to the same church too!
4 of us live in Portland Oregon! (for now):
James, Dave, Jeff, and Jon Micah all live in Portland right now. James, and Jon Micah live on the East side, and Dave and Jeff live on the West side. Their addresses are.....NOT!
1 of us lives in Chino California! (for now):
Nick grew up there, and still resides in Chino.
